Landscape Research Group was founded in 1967 to foster co-operation and interdisciplinary exchange between people with an interest in landscape. Since then, as landscape issues and the need for research have become more pressing, the role of LRG has become more important. The Group has extended both the areas of concern and the readership of its journals, Landscape Research and Landscape Research Extra.
